Why look past the bank login
Rocket Money links your bank and cards to find recurring charges, then offers concierge cancellation and budgeting on a monthly Premium plan (commonly ~$7–14/mo). That's a fair deal if you want automation. But two things push people away: not wanting to share bank access, and not wanting a subscription to manage subscriptions. If either is you, the bank scan isn't worth it — the part that saves money is the reminder before the charge, and you can get that without linking anything.

Best for: getting Rocket Money's outcome — no surprise charges — with zero bank access.

Best for: a minimal private list at the lowest one-time cost.
Bobby is a clean, private, one-time-purchase tracker. It's not built around free trials or cancellation links, but if you want the simplest possible no-bank list, it's a great pick.
Monarch, Copilot or YNAB
Best for: people who want automation and budgeting but want an alternative to Rocket Money specifically.
If your issue is Rocket Money itself rather than the bank connection, Monarch (great for households), Copilot (Apple-focused, superb categorization) and YNAB (zero-based budgeting) are the leading bank-linked alternatives. All are monthly subscriptions and require account access — the same trade-off as Rocket Money, different app.
