SubManager is a private, one-time-purchase subscription tracker across the whole Apple ecosystem. TrialBell is a privacy-first free-trial and subscription reminder for iPhone. Here's where each one genuinely wins.
Transparency: we make TrialBell, so weigh our pick accordingly. Every fact about SubManager below comes from its own public listing or pricing page, checked on 29 July 2026, and we say plainly where it beats us. Where a listing simply doesn't mention a feature we write “not listed publicly” — that is not evidence the feature is missing.
The short answer
Choose SubManager if you want Apple Watch, Mac and Vision Pro support, real currency conversion, price-history tracking, or reminders up to 90 days ahead — and you want to pay less. Choose TrialBell if your problem is specifically free trials converting, and you want cancel-by dates with built-in cancellation routes.

“Not listed publicly” means the app's own public listing doesn't advertise the feature. Only hands-on testing could settle those rows, and we haven't run it — see our open benchmark protocol.
The verdict
This is the closest and most uncomfortable comparison on the site, and we'd rather say so than bury it. SubManager is cheaper ($7.99 once against our $19.99), runs on more Apple hardware including Apple Watch and Vision Pro, converts currencies where we only group them, tracks price history where we don't, and its App Store listing states the developer collects no data at all. On breadth and value it beats us. What TrialBell does that its listing doesn't advertise is the free-trial workflow specifically — a computed cancel-by date, a lead reminder plus a time-sensitive deadline-day alert, and 42 built-in cancellation routes. If trials converting is your actual problem, that's the difference. If you want a well-built, private, cheap tracker across your Apple devices, SubManager is a genuinely strong pick and we'd point you at it.
