Step by step
1. Log in to your Nord Account. Go to your Nord Account and sign in with your email address and password. Cancellation happens here, not in the VPN app.
2. Open Billing. Click Billing in the left-hand menu to see all your subscription information.
3. Cancel auto-renewal. In the Auto-renewal section, click Cancel. Auto-renewal is now off and you won't be billed again.
Refunds are a separate request. Turning off auto-renewal stops the next charge — it doesn't refund the current one. NordVPN's 30-day money-back guarantee applies to your initial subscription purchase only: once the subscription renews, it's no longer eligible under that policy unless local law says otherwise. Refund requests go through NordVPN's live chat or support email.
What happens after you cancel
- Your service stays active until the end of the current billing period, then simply stops renewing.
- The guarantee is a first-purchase thing. If you're past your first term, cancelling early doesn't get your money back — you just keep the VPN until the term ends.
