Last verified: July 2026. Subby details from its App Store listing (Subscription Tracker: Subby, id6739703718). Its privacy label states the developer collects no data. “Not listed” means a feature isn’t advertised on Subby’s App Store page (public listing, not hands-on testing).
Privacy — a near tie
Both apps are about as private as a tracker gets: no bank connection, no account, data on your iPhone. On one point Subby is ahead of us and we’ll say so: its App Store privacy label goes as far as “the developer does not collect any data,” while TrialBell declares anonymous product analytics (product interaction and an anonymous device ID, neither linked to you nor used for tracking) alongside its on-device storage and free iCloud Backup, on by default, in your own iCloud. Your subscription details never leave your iPhone either way. If a completely blank privacy label is your bar, Subby clears it and we don’t.
Where they differ
Subby leans simple and cheap, with a nice touch for people who pay for services in different currencies — it converts everything to yours. TrialBell leans protective: it’s built around the cancel-by date with a lead reminder and a final-day alert, ships 42 built-in cancellation routes and 129 templates, and tracks recurring bills alongside subscriptions.
Pricing
Subby is about $9.99; TrialBell is free for up to 3 and $19.99 once. Subby is the cheaper option; TrialBell asks more, once, for the free-trial machinery and cancellation links.
