If a subscription is billed through Apple, you cancel it in one place — your iPhone Settings — not inside the app. Here are the exact steps, plus how to check renewal dates so you cancel before the next charge.

- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm (scroll down if you don't see it).
Step by step
1. Open Settings → your name. Tap the Settings app, then your name and photo at the very top to open your Apple Account.
2. Tap Subscriptions. You'll see a list of active subscriptions, and expired ones lower down. This list covers everything billed through the App Store, across all your apps.
3. Tap the subscription. Opening it shows the plan, the price, and the next renewal date — useful for setting a cancel-by reminder if you're not ready to cancel yet.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription. Confirm when prompted. You may need to scroll down to find the button. If there's no Cancel button and you see an expiration date in red, it's already cancelled and just running out its term.
